In the last two days we (Prof. Dr. Rene Schmidpeter and Hon.-Prof. Thomas Walker) had the honor to do an examination of 14 IHK CSR Manager in Nürnberg / Germany. - Congratulation for the great projects and the inspiring view on CSR / Sustainability!
150 leading European experts from economy, civil society, science and politics met 2 days in April 2016 up in Frankfurt to debate the chances of new sustainability dynamics, especially driven by the AGENDA 2030. A lot of new ideas to improve and develop showed up. Now it is on all of us to bring these useful ideas into action. – Thanks to the Germany for opening the room for this meaningful discussion. (Hon.-Prof. Thomas Walker on the panel discussing about Coherencies instead of competition. How can companies navigate between the Sustainability Code and other sustainability initiatives?)
2016 Thomas Walker was called as a Honorary Professor at the London Metropolitan University.

at the 29th and 30th of July the second International Conference on CSR, Sustainability, Ethics & Governance took place in Nanjing / China. 50 Persons from 20 Countries attended the conference and shared their knowledge, wisdom and insights.
I was pleased to hold a keynote speech about:

with a special focus on the upcoming Chinese CSR Standard GB/T 3600x
in relation to International Standards, European Standards and the German Sustainability Code
